JINGDEZHEN
In the winter of 2016 I traveled to Jingdezhen, China to produce a line of table ware that I designed over the previous months via sketch up. With all of my past work being created by me in every facet, this was to be an exercise in more of an industrial design approach.
By the end of my six week project I had produced a small body of design procedures for hand thrown platters and planters, a series of plaster prototypes and molds for a body of slipcast homeware, and a small instalation series based in the abandoned factories throughout Jingdezhen.
